We are proud to introduce Filippo Bellani, Executive Chef at Wolfox Savoy and the creative force behind our culinary direction. Originally from northern Italy, Filippo brings a refined, modern approach to traditional European cuisine, rooted in years of experience in top Italian and UK kitchens.
Trained at San Pellegrino Terme, Filippo began his journey with internships at renowned Italian resorts before moving on to leading roles in celebrated restaurants. Most notably, he served as Head Chef at VyTA Covent Garden, where he led the team to multiple awards including the 2024 LUXlife Culinary Excellence Award and consecutive Restaurant Guru recommendations.
At Wolfox Savoy, Filippo brings his passion, precision and artistry to every plate. His menus reflect a deep respect for ingredients and seasonality, with elegant Italian influences woven throughout.
In addition to his role at Wolfox Savoy, Filippo also curates the menu at our long-established French restaurant, Mon Plaisir in Covent Garden – London’s oldest French eatery. His creative direction breathes fresh life into the classic French offering, maintaining its historic charm while adding contemporary flair.
Whether at Wolfox Savoy or Mon Plaisir, Filippo’s culinary vision delivers unforgettable dining experiences that celebrate both heritage and innovation.

Filippo's favourite dish is a classic Northern Italian recipe featuring polenta and brasato, (polenta with slow-cooked braised meat). When asked about a British dish, he remarked, "Beef Wellington."
